About Club

Maharaja Agrasen Mahavidyalaya, an institute of Maharaja Agrasen Shiksha Samiti (Regd.), Bareilly, has been scaling new heights in education and sports for 26 years. The Mahavidyalaya has also run the Shri Agrasen Cricket Academy and is now setting up the "Rejoice... Sports Club" on its campus. The club aims to promote health, social cohesion, and community engagement through structured sports activities. It also focuses on providing opportunities for skill development, stress relief, and fostering a sense of belonging.

Aim

The primary objective of this sports club is to offer organized sports activities to promote physical and mental well-being. It seeks to encourage social interaction, skill development, sportsmanship, and both competitive and recreational participation.

The “Rejoice... Sports Club” aims to revive and promote traditional Indian games such as gendtadee, sapolia, kabaddi, tug of war, and kho-kho—games that are being forgotten in today's digital era. The club focuses on encouraging physical and mental health among children and youth by explaining the harmful effects of online games and fostering real-world physical activities. These traditional and modern sports will help build social harmony and a stronger community.

Sports Club's Rules & Regulations

  1. Carry your Institute Identity Card at all times.
  2. Sign the register before entering and leaving the indoor complex.
  3. Follow instructions issued by RSC from time to time.
  4. Maintain silence in the Indoor Hall.
  5. No food, gum, or drinks (except water) during activities.
  6. No inappropriate behavior or language.
  7. Stack equipment neatly after use. Report breakages.
  8. RSC is not responsible for personal item loss or theft.
  9. Turn off lights/fans after play. Do not tamper with electrical items.
  10. Tobacco, pan, gutkha, and other banned items are strictly prohibited.

Our club is a student organization that promotes & celebrates the cultural diversity and traditions, within the college community. This club provides a platform for students to share & show their cultural heritage, traditions & values through various activities, events & performances.

Since the beginning of human history, culture has always existed & we continue to practice it today. Culture integration teaches us how to be better members of the community. Cultural activities connect peoples from all background & generations, serves as catalyst for inter cultural discourse. There is immense variety in Indian culture, as it is a bland of various traditions. Shri Agrasen Cultural Club has been formed to encourage ethnic diversity among students by planning & executing a variety of events, acknowledging cultural diversity & promoting student’s inherent talent.

Objective of the Club

  1. Promote opportunities for everyone to experience culture participate in educational programmers and develop their creative abilities.
  2. Promote quality and artistic renewal.
  3. Promote a dynamic cultural heritage i.e. preserved, used and developed.
  4. Promote accessibilities
  5. To help the students to know themselves better their interest, abilities, aptitudes and opportunities.
  6. Reduce the stress level of the students.
  7. Encourage feeling of devotion, loyalty and respect for society and the nation.

Club's Rules & Regulations

  1. The club will help reserve facilities for organizing cultural events in contacted well in advance.
  2. If funded by the college, the club must seek permission to purchase any non-perishable materials or equipments with college funds.
  3. No participants are allowed to take home any cultural equipments or materials purchased with college funds for the personal use.
  4. The club must disclose their general members list and voting members list to the college whenever required.
  5. If funded by the college, the club must report the list of non perishable equipments available to the club in the budget proposal.
  6. The club must maintain record of attendance and/or participation in all events along with their certificates.

Aarogya - The Health and wellness Club of Maharaja Agrasen Mahavidyalaya Health is the status of physical and mental calmness of our body Health and wellness club is the association of faculty and students for taking care of each and everything that is required for keeping and individual mentally and physically fit. This club deals with the activities for the students and faculty members to possess overall good health that inculcates metal, physical, emotional and social health. Aarogya - The Health and wellness Club of Maharaja Agrasen Mahavidyalaya was established with the vision to develop sensitivity among the students in particular and the community in general concerning health and nutrition, awareness and maintenance of health life style. As one of club’s programmes and activities aimed to this effect, it has been conducting the time to time free health check-up camps and yoga session by the experts for the students and faculty members.

Objective of the Club

  1. To create awareness about health among the students.
  2. To conduct surveys on health-related concerns.
  3. To organize 'Health Talks' as part of social campaigns by specialized professionals.
  4. Organizing health checkup camps for students and faculty members.
  5. To conduct mental health awareness programmes for students and faculty members.
  6. To provide moral support for students suffering from mental stress during examinations.
  7. To provide assistance for students and faculty members to learn yoga and meditation techniques.
